Ticket Around The World

Ticket Around the World is close to the my heart. It’s a tribute to my parents, who took our family (ages 5, 11 and 14) around the world on a one-way ticket that let them stop anywhere - just one direction only. We spent five months in Southeast Asia - mostly Bangkok, with side trips to the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan and Bali. That journey during my 6th-grade year changed me. Minimalism took root in me then, and it still shows up in my art.
